London Fog
A Study in Scarlet by Arthur Conan DoyleMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
Um. Well. This was... something...
This book introduces one of literature's most iconic duos, and that's about as gushy as I'm going to get. It's a weird reading experience. I don't know what I expected, but it wasn't a GIANT narrative shift in the middle of the story... so 🤷♀️.
I can appreciate its place in literary history, and it wasn't bad, but I'm not convinced it's a strong start to a series that is as beloved as this one.
