I don’t always reach for a thriller, but I actually had a great time with this one. It leans hard into the classic deeply unreliable narrator, and the result is twisty, tense, and consistently engaging.
I didn’t figure out the reveal ahead of time—and whether that says more about the book or about me, I’m choosing to take the win and enjoy the ride.
