Sharp Tongues

I liked this a lot. The writing is sharp, the humor is dark, and the cast of characters is immediately compelling. Everyone feels distinct, messy, and entertaining, and the dialogue is clever without feeling forced, funny without undercutting the stakes.

That said, I had to rush through the final stretch to finish by the end of the month, and I feel like I didn't get to absorb it as fully as I could have. This is a me problem, rather than a flaw in the book, and I think I'll probably read this again one of these days, perhaps before the next in the series?
